Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ORBIS platform and related services provided by ASTRION Technologies SAS ("ASTRION"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using ORBIS on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Service Description
ORBIS is a Space Traffic Management platform comprising five modules: VIGIL (situational awareness), SHIELD (collision avoidance), CLEANPATH (debris management), COMPLY (regulatory compliance), and NEXUS (operator coordination). Access is granted exclusively through direct partnership agreements — ORBIS is not available as a self-service product.
ASTRION provides ORBIS as a managed platform. Deployment model (managed cloud, sovereign, or on-premise) is defined in each partner's service agreement.
3. User Obligations
- • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- • You must not use ORBIS for any purpose that violates applicable law or regulation
- • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
- • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload to the platform
- • You must comply with all applicable export control and sanctions regulations
4. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to the data you upload to ORBIS. ASTRION does not claim ownership of your orbital data, ephemerides, or operational information. We process your data solely to provide the contracted services.
Aggregated, anonymized data derived from platform usage may be used by ASTRION to improve the service, train machine learning models, and generate industry reports. No customer-specific data is ever disclosed without explicit consent.
5. Service Level Agreement
SLA terms are defined individually in each partner's service agreement. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated at least 72 hours in advance and are excluded from SLA calculations.
6. Limitation of Liability
ORBIS provides decision-support tools for space traffic management. Final operational decisions, including maneuver execution, remain the sole responsibility of the operator. ASTRION shall not be liable for any damages arising from operational decisions made using ORBIS data or recommendations. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, unless otherwise agreed in writing for Enterprise customers.
